Jack Johnson and Rachmaninov

Johnson's "Belle" amuses me mostly with his absolutely-not-French tones/pronunciations. The one stanza lyrics implies this pick-up-liner's flirtatiousness. This mini song that lasts merely a minute and forty-three minutes is as cute as it can be. Music is indeed penetrating regardless of different languages.

Rachmaninov's Symphony No2 Adagio is my favorite piece recently. It is calm, but sad; like the long pacing of the funeral march that prolongs people's imagination toward the world after death and the solitude of the deceased's living beloved ones.

Cute and vibrant versus melancholic and desolate. Just how does my life get to be so bipolarish?
